"Pupils work hard and have positive attitudes to learning. They concentrate hard in lessons and their behaviour is good. They respect each other’s ideas and work well together. Pupils want to do well, and the vast majority of them produce work that they are, rightly, very proud of."

Computing & E-Safety

Computing and Digital Literacy are key skills which are essential in preparing pupils to thrive in an increasingly digital world.

Early use of digital technology improves children's language skills and promotes social development and creativity. Having a deeper understanding of computing also helps students to be better equipped when tackling maths and science problems.

To support our Computing Curriculum we have recently started using the National Centre of Computing Education's scheme of work. This allows us to develop the children's computing skills using high quality resources which have been developed by the NCCE in partnership with the Raspberry Pi Foundation and STEM learning.

We take E-safety seriously and all pupils are expected to follow the school agreement.
